1. function
Compressed air flows out through the quick-action valve via the central nozzle and the hexagonal distributor nozzle located in the burner head. The propane flows via the economy handle with flame adjustment to the ring nozzle inside the burner head, where it is ignited by the piezo ignition and heats the outflowing compressed air. By regulating the amount of propane, the desired hot air temperature can be set. The resulting gas volume is composed of the combustion gas, the injector compressed air and the additional air volume drawn in through the nozzle system. With the hot air gas jet it is possible to dry surfaces very quickly, whereby the surface temperature only has to be kept above the dew point. Optimum evaporation conditions then prevail. In this way a soft heating zone is created. The KOREL hot air burner develops a very large quantity of hot gas-air mixture with very low relative humidity. Moisture is also removed which, for example, is located in concrete capillaries.

2. start-up
  1. Connect the compressor to the compressed air inlet, start up the compressor with the quick-acting valve closed.
  2. Connect the regulator with integrated hose rupture protection (RS) to the gas cylinder valve.
  3. Connect RS output G3/8LH (left-hand thread) with a high-pressure hose 6.3x5 (pressure class 30) to the burner inlet (gas-tight).
  4. Open the cylinder valve
  5. Press the start button of the RS
  6. Open the economy valve completely
  7. Open the compressed air valve slightly
  8. Ignite propane with the piezo igniter
  9. Press economy flame lever = full power
  10. Set the desired flame temperature
  11. set with the economy handle valve (propane quantity)
3. decommissioning
  1. Close the economy valve and gas cylinder valve
  2. Close compressed air valve

5. maintenance
The sealing washer in the screw connection on the inlet side of the RS must be checked for wear and the filter retaining screw must be checked for dirt (see also instructions for regulator and hose rupture protection).

Unauthorized repairs and interventions are not permitted.
Only an expert may change the gas quantity for the flame adjustment. The adjustment screw must be sealed again after the change.
