Series 222

Hose rupture safety devices have the task of blocking the gas flow as soon as the nominal gas flow is exceeded within defined limits. Hose rupture safety devices may only be used above ground level.

1. function
The cylinder valve is opened. Propane flows with the cylinder pressure through the regulator to the hose rupture protection. The regulator reduces the pressure to a working pressure of 0.6 to 4 bar. The hose rupture safety device closes as there is no back pressure in the hose. A bypass is released by pressing the button. The hose rupture safety device is bypassed and the hose is quickly filled with gas. Back pressure builds up in the hose. The hose rupture safety device opens. After opening the hose rupture safety device, the working state is reached.
2. start-up
  • Screw the regulator onto the cylinder valve of the 0.425, 3, 5, 11 or 33 kg propane cylinders.
  • Screw the hose rupture protection onto the regulator.
  • Tighten all connections gas-tight with the spanner.
    ! Left-hand thread !
  • Open the cylinder valve with the device valve closed.
  • Press down push button.open device valve. The valve is ready for operation.
3. decommissioning
  • Close the cylinder valve
  • Allow flame to burn out (hose is relieved)
  • Close device valve

5. maintenance
The hose rupture protection is maintenance-free. Unauthorised repairs and interventions are not permitted.
